A Collaborative Event with the Royal Bhutanese Embassy, Bangkok, the Chao Phya Abhai Raja Siammanukulkij Foundation and FBX Thailand, Highlighting Sustainable Development and Family Business Entrepreneurship Bangkok, September 03, 2024 — Family Business Exponential (FBX) is proud to announce a special, by-invitation-only event titled "The Gelephu Mindfulness City; When a Dream, Vision, and Business Meet to Build a Better Future". The event will take place on September 5, 2024, in Bangkok and will include an introduction by Count Gerald van der Straten Ponthoz, from the AB InBev Founding Families, followed by a keynote speech from H.E. Dasho Tshering Tobgay, the Prime Minister of Bhutan.



This special FBX event is a collaboration with the Royal Bhutanese Embassy, Bangkok, and the Chao Phya Abhai Raja Siammanukulkij Foundation. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to learn about the Gelephu Mindfulness City, a pioneering project in Bhutan that exemplifies the harmonious integration of mindfulness, sustainability, and urban development. The city, envisioned as a Special Administrative Region, will serve as a model for future generations, showcasing the balance between growth and nature.


The evening’s program will include:

  1. Introduction by Count Gerald van der Straten Ponthoz: Sharing insights on the importance of dreams and vision in family business.
  2. Keynote Speech by H.E. Dasho Tshering Tobgay: An in-depth presentation on the Gelephu Mindfulness City and its global significance.
  3. Interactive Q&A Session: An opportunity for invitees to engage directly with the Prime Minister and gain deeper insights into Bhutan’s sustainable development strategies.
